Professor Ba Dianjun from the Northeast Asian Research Center of Jilin University Delivers a Thematic Lecture at the National University of Mongolia

      On the morning of June 3, 2026, Professor Ba Dianjun, Deputy Director of the Northeast Asian Research Center NARC of Jilin University and Kuang Yaming Distinguished Professor, was invited to deliver a thematic lecture at the School of International Relations and Public Administration of National University of Mongolia. The lecture was chaired by Professor Batu. The report, titled “Promoting Youth Cultural and Academic Exchanges between China and Mongolia—Mutual Learning Among Civilizations, Creating a Shared Future,” introduced the development of the Center and the Institute of Mongolian Studies, the current status of China–Mongolia youth academic and cultural exchanges, and elaborated on the important value of youth exchange in deepening bilateral friendship. The lecture fully demonstrated Jilin University’s profoundacademic foundation and practical achievements in Northeast Asian regional studies and China–Mongolia people-to-people and cultural exchanges.

      Professor Ba Dianjun first introduced the development history and academic positioning of the Northeast Asian Research Center of Jilin University and the Institute of Mongolian Studies. He then focused on Jilin University’s endeavor in China–Mongolia youth academic and cultural exchanges. He stated that the China–Mongolia comprehensive strategic partnership is continuously deepening, and youth represent the future of both countries and serve as the backbone in carrying forward China–Mongolia friendship. The Institute of Mongolian Studies of Jilin University will leverage its strengths to promote regular, institutionalized and branded youth exchanges between China and Mongolia. In the future, it will continue to innovate forms, expand fields of cooperation, and build more platforms for exchanges and growth. Meanwhile, it will remain grounded in academic research, support regional cooperation, and deepen civilizational mutual learning through youth exchanges, and contribute to the elevation of the China–Mongolia comprehensive strategic partnership.
